The work for sale in this store is produced using a variety of processes.
Each print has a story all of its own. If you would like to know more about the story behind each image and how it was produced, take a look on my blog with the “What’s the story” tag.
The digital prints for sale in store were produced in the Black Church print studio using their museum grade printer. For more information on this printing service, check out their website. Each digital print produced is archival grade.
Hand made prints are either produced at home in my studio or in The Black Church Print studio where I am a member. I use Fabriano cotton paper and a variety of different techniques including etching, mono print, aquatint and lino.
I also have a number of reproductions of original paintings for sale in my store as digital prints. These were scanned in the Copper House Gallery in Dublin using their extraordinary Cruse Scanner which creates the highest quality reproductions. For more about their scanning service, check out their website. The quality they achieve is truly incredible.
I use a well known German archival paper called Hahnemuhle. It is famous for its characteristic softness and the vibrancy of the colours on its surface.
The charcoal series is all produced by hand. For more on this process, you’ll find a time lapse video of the making of one of these popular images in my blog.
My products are Irish. Any outsourcing of printing, packaging, or framing is to other Irish businesses. Shop local and support local business.
